1. Operational Rules
Comprehensive Return & Refund Policy Underwriter.
1.1 The 30-Day Return Window We offer a 30-day return policy starting from the precise date of delivery confirmed by the carrier tracking data.
1.2 Conditions for a Valid Return To qualify for a standard return, the component must meet the following criteria: Must be in its original, unaltered condition as shipped. Must not have been disassembled, modified, or stripped of bolt-on accessories. Must bear the unaltered, original heat tabs and marking stamps applied by our fulfillment facility.
2. Fees and Shipping Policies
2.1 Restocking Fees and Freight Responsibilities: Customer-Initiated Returns (Change of Mind / Incorrect Part Ordered) are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover internal processing and logistics. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return freight shipping.
2.2 Defective or Damaged Items: If a component arrives damaged or defective, GEARHUB AUTO-PARTS, LLC will issue a prepaid freight label and waive all restocking fees.
2.3 Refund Issuance Timeframe: Approved refunds are processed immediately once the part is inspected at our hub. Funds typically manifest in 5 to 7 business days depending on the financial institution.
3. Logistics and Data Protection
3.1 Freight Parameters: Large items are shipped via specialized LTL freight carriers. Smaller accessories use standard ground services.
3.2 Delivery Mechanics: Commercial addresses with equipment qualify for standard rates. Residential deliveries require a liftgate and incur additional fees. The site must be accessible to a 53-foot freight truck.
3.3 Inspection Protocol: Buyer must inspect freight for structural damage before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). Damage must be noted on the BOL to preserve claim rights.
4. Data Privacy: We collect Identity Data (Name, Address), Vehicle Data (VIN, Model), and Payment Metadata. Payment data is securely tokenized via PCI-DSS compliant third-party gateways. Data is shared exclusively with critical operational partners like logistics providers and fulfillment networks.
